Driving Test Manoeuvres

The UK CatB (Car) Driving Test changed in 2017, and new manoeuvres and questions were introduced. These videos explain.

Pull-up then reverse on the right-hand side of the road.

Drive forward into a bay on the left or the right to park.

Tell-Me question, asked at the start of the test, when the car is not moving.

Show-Me question, asked when the car is in motion.

Driving Tests in days past

The driving test has changed many times since it was first introduced in 1935. These videos show some tests of old.
