Meetings

Meetings take place four
times a year

Kinson Community Centre, Pelhams Park
Millhams Road, Kinson, Bournemouth BH10 7LH.

Meetings start at 7.30pm and usually end by 9.30pm.

Additional meetings are scheduled from time to time.
A social event sometimes takes place in December.

BDDIA committee meets quarterly.

2024

January 25 - AGM and BDDIA news

April 25 - Presentation by Jane Filipe on teaching and awareness of trainees with disabilities and special requirements. A variety of topics will be covered and a Q&A session will follow the presentation

July 18 -  Presentation by RoSPA on the history of the organisation and how it has affected road safety. Followed by Q&A session.

October 17 -  An update on matters concerning Poole Driving Test Centre from the Test Centre Manager, followed by a Q&A session. Potential new members welcome and those who pay their membership on the night will have membership for 2025. PDIs welcome free on production of their 'Pink' badge.

2023

January 25 - AGM and BDDIA news followed by DVSA Test Centre Manager for Poole giving a Q&A session on issues affecting the industry.

April 19 - Electric Vehicles - Q&A session on EVs to be given by a local dealership.

July 19 - A presentation and discussion on Standards Check and Part 3 preparation. On this occasion, all PDIs are welcome to attend and free of charge.

October 18 - A presentation by and discussion with THE HONEST TRUTH road safety campaign. This is free to BDDIA members and only £5 for non-members and PDIs. Anyone joining BDDIA at this meeting will have 2024 membership.

2022

January 27 - AGM and BDDIA news followed by DVSA Test Centre Manager for Poole making presentation on Highway Code changes in relation to driving test.

May 5 - Presentation and Question and Answer session by senior DVSA Examiner on Standards Check.

July 21 - CANCELLED - DVSA SPEAKER UNAVAILABLE

October 17 - Update on improvements planned at Poole Driving Test Centre
